Emirates Boeing 777s Serving Authentic Onam Dishes On Kerala Flights

Emirates, the Dubai-based international airline, is celebrating Onam, the harvest festival of Kerala, by offering a special Onam menu on its Boeing 777 flights to and from Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi.

The Onam menu, curated by a team of chefs from Kerala, features a range of traditional dishes, including:

• Sadya: A traditional Onam feast served on a banana leaf, featuring a variety of dishes such as rice, sambar, rasam, thoran, papadum, and payasam.
• Avial: A mixed vegetable dish made with coconut and spices.
• Erissery: A pumpkin dish cooked in a coconut-based gravy.
• Olan: A dish made with white gourd and black-eyed peas cooked in a coconut milk gravy.
• Pachadi: A yogurt-based dish flavored with coconut, green chilies, and mustard seeds.
• Payasam: A sweet dish made with rice, milk, and jaggery.

The Onam menu will be available on all Emirates Boeing 777 flights to and from Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi from August 30 to September 8, 2023.
