Breaking News: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez Joins LA Galaxy on Loan

Former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez has joined the LA Galaxy on loan from Bayer Leverkusen.

The Mexican international, who has 52 goals in 109 appearances for his country, has joined the Galaxy on a one-year loan deal with an option to buy.

Chicharito, who turned 35 in June, has been a journeyman in recent years, having played for seven clubs in the past six seasons. He joined the LA Galaxy on loan from Bayer Leverkusen, and his move to the Major League Soccer (MLS) will see him link up with former Manchester United teammate Zlatan Ibrahimović.
