Manchester City announce starting lineup for FA Cup semi-final
Phil Foden and Julian Alvarez start in attack
Cole Palmer and Riyad Mahrez also in team
Manchester City have announced their starting lineup for their FA Cup semi-final against Liverpool on Saturday evening.
The team is as follows:
- Goalkeeper: Ederson
- Defenders: Kyle Walker, John Stones, Ruben Dias, Joao Cancelo
- Midfielders: Rodri, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva
- Forwards: Phil Foden, Julian Alvarez, Cole Palmer
Manchester City will be looking to reach the FA Cup final for the second consecutive season. They beat Liverpool 3-2 in the final last year.
Liverpool have won the FA Cup a record 8 times, but they have not won the competition since 2006.
The match will be played at Wembley Stadium and will kick off at 5:30pm.
